Oghulaha is the nearest land mass to the Forcados Terminal. The work scope involves the initial survey of Site / borrow pit (to be conducted with jointly with the Client), clearing of all bush, scrubs, grass and trees from site, provision and installation temporary pipes for dewatering, construction of bund walls to retain the fill material; also, the pumping of 900,000 cu.m (Nine hundred thousand cubic meters) of sand from the adjourning river/creeks and the final survey of Site / borrow pit (to be conducted with jointly as well with the Client).

Project: Project Services Contract for the MPNU Edop-QIT Pipeline Clamping Project

A call-out contract with ExxonMobil/MPNU for the Edop-Qua Iboe Terminal (QIT) Pipeline Clamping Project. The initial scope of work involved the provision of a supply vessel and also the supply of a Crew Boat (surfer) to the project site; Ascot also handled the required logistics for her vessels as well as other contractors’ vessels for the duration of the project (viz.: provision of fuel, food, water and crew change). The contract is a joint project with another contractor - RUE (also known as Omak Maritime Limited) to install 49 clamps on the Edop to QIT 24" pipeline.

Project: OML123 Installation Contract
Client: Addax Petroleum Development Company of Nigeria Limited

A subcontract from Maritimex Offshore Nigeria Limited to install 10.57km of 12” pipeline in Addax’s OML-123 field located offshore Calabar; the ultimate client on this assignment was Addax. The execution of this work was a milestone event for Ascot in that it signified the volume of Ascot’s work in the offshore Nigerian market. The Ascot Forcados 1 and the Ascot Bonny 1 vessels were engaged to conduct this work.
