Project: Adanga Brownfield Project, Offshore Calabar
Client: Addax Petroleum Development Company of Nigeria Limited

The work scope involves the upgrade of the Adanga Production Complex offshore Calabar in Cross River State. The development is in two phases; the first phase being the modification (upgrade, refurbishment and safety) works needed to upgrade the Adanga Project Complex’s delivery capacity and to handle the company’s latest forecast in oil and gas production levels for Addax. Specifically, the upgrade works include modification works on the Flare System, removal and re-instatement of the oil export pumps, demolition and replacement work on existing pipe systems, removal of obsolete equipment, gas inerting, purging and flushing operations etc. - to enable the Adanga Production Platform (ADPP) to continue operating with minimal risk to either personnel or the environment until the end of the field’s life. The Adanga Production Complex is located in extremely corrosive and rough terrain offshore Calabar. The Ascot Bonny 1 was employed for this project.


Project: Pipelay Call-Off Contract
Client: Nigerian Agip Oil Company (NAOC)

A Call-Off contract with the Nigerian Agip Oil Company (NAOC), the job scope involves the land-area pipelay of 6” twin lay buried flowlines. The pipelay scope in this contract involves about a hundred kilometer stretch of land area pipe-lay work.  The project also involves a completion of 26km pipelay work from the Obiafo SW to the Ob/Ob gas plant.


Project: Amassoma Dredging Project-Niger Delta University
Client: Bayelsa State Government

This dredging project is being undertaken for the Bayelsa State Government Niger Delta University (NDU) Project; and the scope of work involves the dredging of 3 million cubic feet of sand from the nearby creek bed to sand-fill an area of approximately 210 hectares to a height of 1.0m. The Ascot Warri 3 Suction Dredge commenced dredging works on the 5th of April, 2008. This project is expected to last approximately 6 months.


Project: East Area Project (EAP) EPC4A Platforms
Client: ExxonMobil & Mobil Producing Nigeria Unlimited (MPNU)

Project Completion - Ongoing

Engineering, procurement, fabrication and installation for the modification of existing platforms to capture and re-inject the natural gas currently being flared. The project involves extensive modifications to several offshore platforms. The project scope included laser scanning of selected portions of production and well-head platform, process spool fabrication and 150 tons of deck extensions.


Project: Escravos Gas Pipeline Project (EGP3a)
Client: Chevron & Nigeria National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC)

Engineering, Procurement, Construction and Commissioning of new 24, 20 & 10” pipelines for import and export of Natural Gas products. Project scope including modification and tie-in with existing offshore production/compression platforms and wellheads, CALM buoy installation, swamp crossings and associated refining facilities tie-in with pipeline inspection gauge capabilities.


Project: Assassa Assabo Uplift Project
Client: Exxon/Mobil Producing Nigeria Unlimited (Exxon/MPNU)

Engineering, procurement and fabrication of 12 miles sub-sea 12” crude oil and 20” gas pipeline with Pig launcher and receiver.   Complete with valve stations, instrumentation and commissioning for Mobil Producing Nigeria.


Project: Eastern Gas Gathering System (EGGS)
Client: Shell Petroleum Development Co. Nigeria Ltd. (SPDC)

Engineering, procurement and fabrication of 83 Km of 600 ANSI, 40-inch gas pipeline from at tie-in and 44-inch launcher at Soku Gas Plant to an existing receiver at Bonny NLNG Terminal, including a 3.5 Km 12-inch spur line from the Cawthorne Channel Gas Plant to a tie-in on the 40-inch. The entire 83 Km of pipe was coated with 3-layer polyethylene corrosion coating and 190 #/ft3 concrete weight coated. Six major rivers were crossed, including a dual (40" & 36") 6 kilometer crossing of the Bonny River.
